About us

Welcome to Urban Nerves, a dynamic research platform dedicated to advocating for civic rights and responsibilities and educating the public on Pakistan’s urban and rural development issues. Our mission is to provide factual information and engage the public in meaningful discussions and debates about urban planning and development.

While much high-quality research on urban issues in Pakistan exists, it often remains confined to academic circles. Urban Nerves bridges this gap by making such research accessible to everyone, including high school and university students, public and private sector professionals, and all those passionate about improving their built environment.

Our Vision

Our vision is to empower the general public with accurate information on urban planning and development issues. We aim to inspire and equip individuals to actively participate in the dialogue surrounding their built environment, fostering a more informed and engaged society.

Our Mission

Urban Nerves is committed to making quality research accessible and understandable for all. We utilize engaging formats such as animations, motion graphics, and short documentaries to present complex information. By leveraging social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, we ensure that our content reaches a broad audience, encouraging widespread participation in shaping the future of our cities and communities.
